Power Ducting 32 – 450 mm OD

Undergrounding of overhead cables and installation of new ducting for power cables by open trenching causes disruption to traffic and inconvenience to the public. Using polyethylene ducting overcomes these negatives as it can be supplied in long lengths making it ideal for installed by no dig directional drilling.

Polyethylene power ducting is usually orange outside to provide an early warning to anyone digging near a power cable.

Power ducting is available in straight lengths or for 32 mm OD through to 110 mm OD in loose coils and is rated SDR17 (different SDRs on special request). Long length coils are ideal for directional drilling applications.

Use of a range of electrofusion fittings make jointing easy and joints watertight.
